To me, it doesn't get much better than Jerry Cantrell. He is the total package. He
is the future of guitar players. Jerry has the same versatility displayed by the
other greats such as Iommi and Hetfield, with a twist of his own. Jerry has incorporated
many "sick" sounds into his music, using odd 5ths, wicked bends and grunge distortion.
Jerry is the one-man guitar, taking care of rhythm and leads, like Gilmour, Page, and Iommi.
When Cantrell solos, he has that amazing ability to take the entire song and some it
up in his solo. His music is as sharp as a razor, and has the power of a locomotive
gone mad, and Jerry Cantrell is the engineer behind it all.
